Up to that time, I had never had dogs but Bell gave me the chance of approaching the dog-lovers’ world with great easiness and simplicity; she was in fact very attentive and receptive. Her temper was strong and resolute yet she adapted herself easily to my pace which is not so steady. In my memory, some of my best moments are those long walks with my sweet, little Bell, when she run wildly or to played like a retriever in the garden of my country house. But, above all, I remember our good, long sleeps at weekends, laying curled up one close to the other; it was the time when we still did not know anything about the dog-shows world.
Being the owner of such an exceptional dog has immediately roused my curiosity: almost all concerned with this so peculiar breed interested me. I began surfing the Net, reading books and searching somebody who could know more about this breed of dogs. So I met Marianne Bergius, a Swedish breeder of unquestionable experience, owner of the TOP CRYSTAL’S breeding. Thanks to her and to her Blue Moon, a fully-grown Bedlington she gave me, I could approach the dog-show world. Blue Moon did the rest: with her beauty and smartness she opened all the doors of dog-loving, winning 9 championships, amongst which the 2002 European Championship held in Paris.

Today, I breed and show my own Bedlingtons who are giving me great satisfactions. I also know I could succeed in getting up to this point most certainly thanks to all those who haven’t left me alone in these years of personal changes and growth.
